Allô (2022)
Digital
20"x16"
I was four years old when my mom brought me to the pet store and handed me a tiny little puppy. I was four but he was even smaller and more fragile than me. “Allô” was the first word I ever told him. It’s been 15 years since then and this dog, who is still quite small honestly, has now trouble jumping on my bed, can barely hear when we call for him and has paid a visit to the veterinarian way more often in the past 6 months than he has ever done in his whole life. So, this artwork is in some way a tribute to him, something I can look back to when he’s no longer here.
